Renovation of a historic Raleigh landmark

Built in 1930 by the Catholic Diocese the one story brick building once provided elementary education for African American children for nearly 37 years. Through the years this historic landmark has served as a school, a day care center and now it is poised to be a teen center and an integral part of the community redevelopment efforts in downtown.
