New company director of The Habit Ltd explains how his company became the largest group of building inspectors in New Zealand within six months of taking over the healm.
ALICETOWN, NEW ZEALAND, December 03, 2010 /Building and Construction PR News/ -- The Home & Building Inspections Team Ltd since it's new owners have taken over have become the largest group of building inspectors in New Zealand.
They have sold a staggering seven regional franchises in the six months of operation, totalling 17 regions out of 26, not including 4 other regions that are still in negotiation.
Steven Brien, one of three directors in the company say's "We are delighted with the results, It was really a matter of good timing, good opportunity and good planning I think, we felt we couldn't pass up the probability of what the market was telling us at the time. There's a lot happening in the real estate industry at the moment, with all sorts of reforms being implemented creating an uplift in demand for building inspections."
The outlook in the inspection industry is looking incredibly promising as more and more banks are requesting their customers have a building inspection carried out and with the leaky home syndrome, more buyers a becoming increasingly cautious before they buy.
Steven also says " Buyers are coming out of the dark ages and are prepared to spend a small investment towards one of the most significant purchases they will make in their lifetimes. It always seemed ironic to me, that most people when buying a new car always get a mechanic to give them a report, but never seem to have the same mentality when it comes to buying a house."
