H. Bruce Shreves Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
H. Bruce Shreves heads the construction/surety practice group in the firm
NEW ORLEANS, LA, December 8, 2010 /Building and Construction PR News/ -- H. Bruce Shreves, Attorney at Simon, Peragine, Smith & Redfearn, LLP has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in legal services.
With 41 years of professional experience, Mr. Shreves attributes his success to his partners. As an attorney he now practices arbitration and mediation for construction law. He also acts as the managing partner of the law firm. Prior to entering into private practice, he served with the Criminal Division of the U. S. Department of Justice and the U. S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps.
Mr. Shreves has lectured and written on numerous occasions on construction and surety law issues for the American Bar Association and other national programs. He has authored many publications and papers, including a book titled, "Louisiana Construction Law". He is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and The American College of Construction Lawyers.
In 1969, Mr. Shreves received a JD from Georgetown Law. He received a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1965 from the College of the Holy Cross. He was the 2010 recipient of the Martin J. Andrew Award for Lifetime Achievement in Fidelity & Surety Law from the American Bar Association. Additionally, he was named by New Orleans Magazine as one of the Best Lawyers in New Orleans in Construction Law and the Alternative Dispute Resolution and was listed as one of the Louisiana SuperLawyers Top 10 Lawyers in Louisiana.
