Jack Penrose Honored for Professional Longevity
Jack Penrose Named Professional of the Year in Facility Management by Cambridge Who's Who
CHANDLER, AZ, August 27, 2010 /Building and Construction PR News/ --Jack Penrose, Superintendent of Reflections at Gila Springs, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of facility management.
The residents of Reflections at Gila Springs are on vacation - or so it would seem judging by the resort-style domiciles in which they live. For nearly 30 years, Mr. Penrose has overseen the grounds of Reflections at Gila Springs. He excels in general facility maintenance and groundskeeping, and is responsible primarily for overseeing all housing units and recreation grounds for an estimated 1,200 homeowners. A recognizable, friendly face at Gila Springs, Mr. Penrose has thrived in his position and has become the resident "go-to-guy" for the residents of the community. He notes that over the course of his career, he has performed some unexpected heroic deeds, including the rescue of a two-year-old boy from a nearby lake. In his line of work, he maintains, one is bound to witness some interesting things.
Looking to the future, Mr. Penrose intends to stay on at Gila Springs and continue contributing to the community. He spends much of his free time volunteering for local charitable organizations and is an active supporter of the Phoenix Children's Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital.
