SearStone Hires New Sales Associate and Outreach Coordinator
Roach & Nelson Join Retirement Community Staff
CARY, NC, March 16, 2011 /Building and Construction PR News/ -- SearStone, a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) planned for Cary, is pleased to welcome Leigh Roach as sales associate and Thom Nelson as outreach coordinator. Theses hirings come amidst ramped-up activities at SearStone, including approval by the Wake County Board of Commissioners in January for the issuance of construction bonds, and site work to shape the landscape of the new community.
Leigh Roach, a Cary native, brings to SearStone nine years of experience in the continuing care retirement industry. As a marketing associate at both The Forest at Duke and Glenaire, Roach is a great believer in establishing caring and long-lasting relationships with her clients while assisting them in planning their retirement and future health care needs.
A former nuclear engineer, teacher and university chaplain, Thom Nelson brings diverse communications and relationship-building skills to SearStone. With multiple degrees in chemistry, computer science and divinity, Nelson most recently taught computer science at North Carolina State University while serving part-time as pastor of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary.
"Leigh and Thom are joining us at a very exciting time," said Morgan Lamphere, director of sales and marketing. "We've retained Rentenbach-Wilson Construction and Poythress Construction to help build our community, and we are very close to reaching the 70-percent presold threshold required by the Department of Insurance before construction on our homes can begin. At this point we only need commitments from seven more future residents before we can go to bond financing."
SearStone is presently offering pre-construction pricing on a variety of home styles and floor plans. Depositors can save up to $50,000 on entrance fees by acting now.
