Thomas P. Lisowski Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Building Automation and Energy Management Systems

    CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI, December 28, 2011 /Building and Construction PR News/ -- Thomas Lisowski, President and 1986 founder of Metro Environmental, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in building automation and energy management systems.

With 38 years of professional experience overall and 25 years of experience as president of Metro Environmental, Inc., Mr. Lisowski is responsible for upgrading and installing digital temperature controls for buildings, monitoring systems, overseeing engineering services, establishing rapport with his clients, and supervising 40 employees.

Mr. Lisowski became a licensed electrical contractor in the state of Michigan in 1998, having become a licensed mechanical contractor in 1986 and a licensed unlimited refrigeration journeyman in 1973. Mr. Lisowski has worked on Michigan's Henry Ford Museum and Henry Ford Theater. Mr. Lisowski's company, Metro Environmental, Inc., is an authorized dealer of Automated Logic Corporation temperature control and energy management systems servicing Southeastern Michigan. Metro is a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Detroit and Mechanical Service Contractors of America employing union tradesmen from the IBEW Local 58, Pipefitters Local 636 and Sheet Metal Workers Local 80. Metro installs and services energy management systems for Ford World Headquarters, Ford Credit, Oakland University, WSU Tech Town, Spring Arbor University, Macomb and Washtenaw County buildings, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, United States post offices and many K-12 school districts. Mr. Lisowski is a member of Pipefitters Local 636, Troy-Oakland Pilots Flying Club, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and a past member and chair of the Mechanical Board of Rule for the State of Michigan appointed by Governor John Engler.
