Justine M. Fitzsimons Recognized for Dedication to Construction Design
Justine Fitzsimons holds a certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
MANHASSET, NY, May 12, 2011 /Building and Construction PR News/ -- Justine M. Fitzsimons, Regional Director of Design and Construction at Johnson Controls Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in her career.
Growing up with a father who owned a commercial construction firm, Ms. Fitzsimons was molded for the industry. She has 25 years of professional experience and is presently the regional director of design and construction at Johnson Controls Inc. Since 2004, her responsibilities have included managing 12 team members and a portfolio of $70 million, designing corporate and retail spaces, and implementing the construction phases of projects. Ms. Fitzsimons also oversees profits and losses for her team, hires contractors and architects, and schedules employees.
Prior to working in her current position, Ms. Fitzsimons was the lead project manager at T-Mobile, and the director of design and construction at United Systems Integrators Corporation. She attributes her success to her passion for the construction industry.
Ms. Fitzsimons is certified by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration and is a board member of Manhasset Women's Coalition Against Breast Cancer. Looking toward the future, she hopes to grow professionally and pursue a project management certification.
