Grace Lily Padua Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals

BARRIE, ON, CANADA July 5, 2011 /Building and Construction PR News/ -- Grace Padua, Writer, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing.
Hailing from Manila in the Philippines, where she received a Master of Arts equivalent in education from Arellano University, Ms. Padua was an educator for 21 years. She is considered an expert in the English language and reading education, and was given a plaque of appreciation from the Division of City Schools for her excellent work within the local community.
She was also honored with an International Merit Award in poetry writing from the International Society of Poets in 1992. Now a resident of Canada, Ms. Padua finds inspiration from her experience teaching non-readers and has become a children's book author. She would like to express her sincere gratitude for the support extended to her by the Department of Culture, City of Barrie by offering Grant Writing Workshops to aspiring artists and greatly acknowledged Hubpages.com in publishing her articles online together with Ilocos Times, a local newspaper in Laoag City, Northern Philippines to put her poems in her native dialect Ilocano.
Ms. Padua works at a concrete product supplier. She is responsible for training new employees and maintaining quality assurance. She served as the project organizer/administrator of the Canada Millennium Partnership Program to celebrate the New Millennium in year 2000 that has showcased the Philippine culture in her new home. She has a deep appreciation for the valuable contributions of the pastors, members of the churches and volunteers involved in the project, members of Bb. Philippinas Dance Troupe and the Millennium Bureau of Canada. Ms. Padua is proud of her success and attributes it to the support she receives from her parents, brothers and sisters, her own family, husband and children, son in law, granddaughter, relatives and friends. She is also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Her religious affiliation with Grace Communion International developed her deeply rooted Christian values and beliefs about the purity of good intentions of every human being towards each other based in the Philippines and Canada.
